FAQs
The due date for filing GSTR-4 for the financial year 2024–25 is 30th June 2025, as per Notification No. 12/2024 – Central Tax dated 10th July 2024. This is a change from the earlier due date of 30th April.
CMP-08 is a quarterly statement filed by taxpayers under the Composition Scheme to declare the summary of outward supplies and pay tax. It must be filed by the 18th of the month following each quarter (e.g., for April–June, the due date is 18th July).
Regular GSTR-4: ₹50 per day (₹25 CGST + ₹25 SGST), subject to a maximum of ₹2,000.
Nil GSTR-4 (no outward supplies during the year): ₹10 per day (₹5 CGST + ₹5 SGST), subject to a maximum of ₹500.
